Tony is a two-time Pulitzer Prize nominee who was on the start-up team of USA TODAY. He is a winner of the Robert F. Kennedy Foundation award for excellence in journalism and the American Bar Association award for reporting.
While managing editor of the Times Union in Rochester, NY, Tony attended Rochester Institute of Technology working toward an MBA in research and planning, continuing at The George Washington University while National Editor of USA Today. He was Director of News Research for USA Today, starting its well-known polling department, and then corporate Director of Research for Gannett Co., Inc.
He is author of Tracking Tomorrow’s Trends, a best-selling book examining trends shaping the business world and Where Have All The Flowers Gone, following people who attended the Woodstock festival and how they evolved over the decades since. He is also author and narrator of a video on branding produced by Newstar Communications.

Lois specializes in creating and implementing effective branding, marketing and advertising strategies and campaigns.
Lois received her Ph.D. degree in media ecology from New York University (NYU). She has a Master of Arts degree from NYU in Speech Arts and Image Building, and a BA from Brooklyn College.
She is a former professor at NYU and at Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey, where she helped start and build its communications department.
Lois has worked with multiple divisions of Siemens, Becton Dickinson, Agfa, GE Healthcare, Ortho, Terumo, Citibank, Johnson & Johnson, the TIAA Institute, McGraw-Hill, and many others, large and small.

Herb has the distinction of having been inducted into the Direct-to-Consumer (DTC) Marketing Hall of Fame, and has been nominated for the Medical Advertising Hall of Fame.
Herb is a top marketer who has worked in range of categories including manufacturing, pharma and retail for both agencies and corporations. He launched the first-ever Direct-to-Consumer pharmaceutical campaigns and pioneered “Disease Awareness” campaigns in 15 European countries and Japan.
Herb led numerous brands to success. He has held senior global positions at Biogen, Schering Plough/Merck, Pharmacia, Shinogi Pharma, and other major companies. He has a distinguished track record in new product launches, developing best-in-class creative and advertising services, including focusing on emotional motivations.
